value. Permacon our preferred supplier has it own quality
control laboratory. This is where they check the quality
of all their products. They perform daily testing which
systematically subjects all their products to extreme variations
in temperature, de-icing salt, product stability and homogeneity
and load capacity. Their product tests are relative to our
Canadian climate because of the tendency for concrete to
crack. This is a common complaint we receive from customers
who have chosen stamped concrete over interlocking in the
past.
Why
not stamped concrete?
An
advantage of interlocking is that it endures and outlasts
freezing and thawing during the seasons of winter and spring
in comparison to concrete applications. When we receive
requests for stamped concrete, we explain those differences
to people. We also refuse all requests for stamped concrete
because we feel the end product does not qualify as great
work. We also know that it will not satisfy your needs because
stamped concrete requires constant repairing every season
and it will cost you every time.
