They did the complete back yard project including architectural planing. I had them install a patio, fire pit, replace a fence and put in plantings. What a great experience! Excellent work, amazing customer service, always on time and delivered as promised. I highly recommend this company for all your landscaping needs. They exceeded my expectations. They will definitely work with customer to get the project within the budget. I will definitely be contacting them again when I'm ready to redo the front yard.

Horvath Design and Build was in our neighbourhood and asked the right questions to further provide a quote. Matthew came over and met my wife and I personally and showed us exactly what he planned on doing. He also used technology to help us understand some of the finer details. Matthew's company was thorough, and quick! There were no surprises and we got exactly what we were looking for! We were informed every step of the way and the job foreman Dave was excellent at asking the right questions each morning. The job site was clean at the end of each day. We are extremely happy with the outcome.

Mathew and his crew completed major landscaping revamps of our backyard including stone patio,lighting pool surround, plantings, fencing and stone steps. We were so pleased with the design, professionalism of the installation and outcome that we brought them in the next year to totally redo our front entrance and yard landscaping. Again they delivered a wonderful design and installed it on time and within estimates. We would have no problem recommending them for this type of work.

The final product was better than what I had imagined! I am so happy with our backyard living space. Matthew and his crew were always thinking one step ahead and keeping us informed of any issues they saw that might deviate from the original plans. They were very accommodating with 'on-the-go' changes I had asked for when we had a change of heart from what was on the plans. I am pleased to write this review for Horvath Contracting. I contacted Matthew after seeing the amazing work he had done at the home of one of our neighbours, and reading very positive reviews about Horvath online. I was impressed with Matthew from the first time I contacted him. I briefly explained what I was after and he was at our home later that day to look at our front yard, and spent a good deal of time with us discussing what we would like. Soon after, he came by with a plan for the front stonework and landscaping. This was followed by three other online meetings, honing in on exactly what would be done. This entire design process was quick and simple. His quote was a very thorough line-by-line description of the work to be done and materials to be supplied. Matthew was flexible, a good listener, and obliging with items I wanted or didn’t want. His design was refreshingly different than our proposed design. This made me feel like I was getting a whole new look which better fit the style of our traditional home. I appreciated Matthew thinking ‘outside the box’ and explaining why he was making the recommendations he made. In addition to the stonework, the landscape (plantings) design was gorgeous. The plants he chose are unique (so different than what we had before), and will bring the entire front of our home to life! We got several other quotes from other contractors and were very pleased to find Horvath was competitive and very fair. When the decision was made to proceed, he and his crew (Antonio and Corey) arrived that same day and started preparing for the job. It was completed quickly and thoroughly. The crew worked hard, were professional, polite and tidy.
